The Bible says those who worship God must worship him in truth and in spirit.
Jesus also said he would not leave us alone, but give us the Holy Spirit. No one knows the heart of a man except the spirit. The Holy Spirit is a part of the holy Trinity and for those who have accepted Jesus and have been baptized by fire, will see the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit.
